What you see on your Mac is called the Setup Assistant. The Setup Assistant guides you through the basic setup of your Mac.
Please follow the on-screen instructions on your Mac. During the on-screen setup process, you will be asked how you want to set up your Mac. Please select Set up as new. After that, you can proceed with this guide.
Tips for a smooth set up
SIGN-IN
Depending on your region, the Setup Assistant will ask you to sign in. Use your SAP email adress. You will need your SAP password and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). If you do not have an approved MFA method ready, you will need assistance from IT support.
NETWORK CONNECTION
A network connection is required. If you are at home, you can connect to your personal Wi-Fi. If you are in an SAP office, it is recommended to connect to the SAP-Guest Wi-Fi. To learn more about how to connect to this Wi-Fi, click here.
